Medicine For Fibroids

I often get asked if it is possible to take medicine for fibroids.  In fact, it is one of the most common questions I get asked, particularly by women who have recently been diagnosed and who are looking for a quick solution.

It's quite understandable really.  When we are ill or have a condition which is affecting the quality of our day to day lives, of course we would want to resolve it in a fast way.
If that way is simply by obtaining some form of medication from our doctor or pharmacy which can bring a fast end to this condition then all well and good.

Very often, this question is asked after women have seen claims about medicine for fibroids on the internet, which is often in the form of herbal preparations.

I can see why women are tempted and curious about the claims relating to these medicine for fibroid products.  Many will claim that fibroids will shrink in an amazingly short space of time, simply as a result of taking their remedy.  However, the truth is that many of these preparations are very expensive and cannot be a long term solution.

Although doctors cannot discover the exact and accurate causes of fibroids in each women, they do know that fibroids grow due to number of different issues which are broadly related to lifestyle, dietary and genetic issues.  It is likely that fibroids will start growing in certain women due to a chance combination of several of the influential factors.  Unless these factors are minimized somewhat, fibroids will continue to thrive or even enlarge further.  This is one of the reasons why surgery is not considered to be a long term solution.  It certainly has its place in some situations, but even after this procedure, many women find that regrowth happens within months unless lifestyle and dietary changes are incorporated at the same time.

The same is true for medicine for fibroids.  Certain herbal preparations can indeed help to calm and soothe some of the symptoms of fibroids and may even bring about some shrinkage.  However, it cannot be a permanent solution .  To start with, these medicines are often eye-wateringly expensive, with many costing hundred and hundreds of dollars for a few weeks' supply.  Compare this with the cost of a solution such as Fibroids Miracle and you can understand why I might feel uncomfortable about this.

Of course there are other medications which you might get from your doctor which are sometimes used in preparation for surgery.  One example is Lupron.  This can only be used as a temporary measure as when taken longer term, it has side effects such as thinning vaginal skin, facial wrinkling, menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes and osteoporosis.  Other medicine for fibroids which you might get from your doctor include the birth control pill, which can help regulate hormones.

If you are considering taking
medicine for fibroids, I would ask that you consider making dietary and lifestyle changes as an alternative.  Of course, this doesn't apply if your fibroids are life-threatening and surgery has been advised by your doctor, but in situations where a "watchful waiting" type of approach has been recommended.

Fibroids Miracle
incorporates a tried and tested three step plan to help you to eliminate your fibroids permanently.
